This was an amazing day, with beautiful weather and calm seas, however there was a hidden but very strong mid channel current! Luckily the tide eventually changed and all the swimmers managed to reach Colwell Beach safely.
The swimmers were greeted to a very warm welcome from friends and families and a much needed bacon roll and coffee!
