A fantastic fun evening was kindly hosted by Lesley and Tony in the Sun Inn, Hulverstone on 26th January.
Wonderful tasty Kenyan curries were on the menu with the added bonus of boosting funds!
Our very able and entertaining Quiz Masters Ian and Marianne Johnson kept us organised throughout the evening.
Congratulations go to the three winning teams, “Hungry Eejitts”, “Coastguards” and “Rasputin” Special recognition to “Jambo” for winning the bonus Local Knowledge round!
Sincere thanks go to those who donated such wonderful raffle prizes, their generosity resulted in us raising just over £1000!
This has added to the great start already made for Friends of Buburi fundraising for 2013 and we hope we can keep this up for the rest of the year as we aim to raise the £7-£9000 needed for a new borehole to provide fresh drinking water for the clinic and surrounding villages. We do appreciate your continued support.
