The nets for these children were purchased by Buburi Community Health Clinic Social fund. These children are being supported by Uzima Orphanage ( situated near to the clinic) enabling them to live with their families in the community.
Most of these children will have been affected by HIV/Aids, either their parents may have died or they themselves may be living with HIV/Aids.
Buburi Clinic Social policy was set up to help vulnerable and disadvantaged children and adults living in the community who would be unable to afford the very small costs the clinic charges. Insecticide Treated Nets are essential to try and reduce the risk of contracting Malaria by protecting them at night from the mosquito bites.
