Noreen accompanied by Aoife Cahill had a busy time with high numbers of patients attending the clinic. Increasing numbers of pregnant women are accessing Ante Natal care and another two babies were delivered during the trip. One of the babies, born in the breech position, would surely not have had a safe delivery if not at the clinic. Staff numbers have increased and so has the level of expertise, meaning the services are highly regarded in the area and praised by the Public Health department and Ministry of Health. The clinic is now so busy it is bursting at the seams! but the staff are happy and continue to be diligent and committed to serving the community well.
