Buburi Community clinic have been supporting Uzima Orphanage Day Centre to help keep the children healthy by offering treatment free through the Social Fund. Jiggers are a particular problem giving the children pain and distress. Great progress has been made in eradicating them. Evidence has shown that by soaking feet daily it can help to kill the jiggers that have crawled under the children’s skin in their feet. A kind donation enabled the purchase of bowls and soap for all 250 children. Thank you!
