This International Youth Day, we’re celebrating the resilience, ambition and determination of young people across the world – and recognising that something as simple as access to period products can make a life-changing difference.
At Power Of Pads, we work alongside trusted partners in Kenya to provide reusable period pads and menstrual health education to schoolgirls. For too many girls, a lack of affordable period products means missed lessons, lost confidence and barriers to education. By providing a reusable pad kit that can last for several years, we’re helping girls stay in school, participate fully in class and look towards a brighter future. It’s about far more than a period product – it’s about dignity, opportunity and equality.
International Youth Day reminds us that when we invest in young people, we invest in stronger communities and a better future for everyone. Every girl who stays in school is another young person with the opportunity to fulfil her potential and inspire others.
