We are a small charity that is run by a very small team of ‘hands on’ volunteer Trustees. Despite our size, we do help to make a big difference to the lives of girls in the poorest parts of Kenya and now we have a few projects successfully up and running, we would like to focus our attention on increasing our reach, engagement, supporters and fundraising in the UK.
We would like an enthusiastic and committed person to manage and run our digital marketing activity. The role would include the development of the social media strategy, in line with the charity’s objectives, and the day to day running of our social media activity including creating content, posting and engagement. We are very mindful that managing social media can become a 24/7 activity and this is definitely not what is required. This is a voluntary position and we’re envisaging that with savvy forward planning, there would be a relatively small amount of work required on a weekly basis. You’d be joining a supportive and motivated team who are all committed to empowering and supporting girls to remain in school in Kenya.
